Grand junction to crested butte

This morning was dry and sunny. We rode from grand junction over the grand mesa and the west side of gunnison. Then we stopped in montrose for lunch. The place was called the red barn best lunch i’ve ever had. Prime rib sandwhich rare melted mozz on chibata. Wow. Left lunch to do the east side of the black canyon. Rain rain rain. Did i mention it rained. Lighting big time. Took cover a few times. Headed to peonia then did the kebler pass. Mud wet but fast. End in crested butte. No camping again. Just been too wet to be reasonably comfortable. Photos aren’t great today. Too much water. But a good time riding.
