DAY FIVE
Well she was sore. But willing non the less. We road the Denali highway gravel road for most of the day. The scenery was amazing. Stopped at a river full of Sockeye Salmon heading to spawn and die. Eventually made it to an outpost deep into the Denali area, where we will spend the night. it’s called Gracious House. The owners are true Alaskans and very hospitable. Constantly people stop here will all types of trouble and they find a solution. It’s the only place for many many many miles.. They fed us a nice hot meal and the shower was great. This place has more character than Disneyland. And it’s has views beyond imagination. Tonight we will wake up in shifts hoping to catch the northern lights and alert the others..

We are glad she was just sore and nothing broken. I lost sleep that night thinking about you Stacey. That a girl back on horse. Can’t wait to see shots of northern lights. I hope the watchman stays awake. Have a great day.
