The route to Malaga continues
We headed out late morning for the rest of the trip to Malaga. Much of the main highway, the autopista del Mediterraneo, for the first two hours or so was not that pretty. Agricultural, but due to the dessert like terrain, there were plastic greenhouses on the right cut into the mountainside and on your left right to the sea. Because of all the mountains there are a lot of tunnels, they are especially cool on bike. Always opening up to a change of scenery, whether it be a metropolis cut into the side of a mountain, a bridge spanning a valley or ruins of old castles. We stopped at a few scenic overlooks. Unfortunately they were all on the opposite side of the road which sometimes posed a problem with the kamikaze drivers. The views though, were worth the risk of life.

This scene caught our attention so we decided to investigate and stop lunch. The town is Calahonda. Although sleepy at the moment, it appears to be a hopping city during the tourist season.

Our hotel in Malaga again was very modern

Grace and I went through the pics. It looks great. Ride safe, and keep the adventure going. We really enjoy it. Question? where are the Harleys???
So far I’ve seen maybe 5 harleys. Not bad. But compared to I’d say 10,000 bike and 50,000 moped it’s not much.
Looks like you are having a great time. Sometime the photos by the water look like new england. Very busy at work this week. Weather hear this comong week lows at night 36-40 ouch.
Enjoy
