Spain on two wheels!
After a few days of getting acclimated it was time. We picked up the bikes at 10:30 in the morning. It took about an hour & 1/2 to do paperwork and reorganize our bags. I (Stacey) had quite a bit of anxiety because of the traffic and city streets. There was really no choice at this point so off we went. A quarter mile down the road was a rotunda with about 8 different off and ons. We were taking the second one. Well at least James did! The psycho drivers here make Newyorkers look docile. I couldn’t get off so round I went, I felt like Chevy Chase in the Grizwalds! So now here I am by myself, I had to get out of the circle due lunatics who didn’t stay in their lane. Navigating side streets to try to make it back, now back on I find James on the corner flailing his arms to get my attention. Back together we laughed over the chaos. Fortunately we had pre-planned for such an occasion and what we would do. Anyway that was the extent of the excitement for the day. The rest was a beautiful 3 1/2 hr ride to Valencia. Mountains on the right and the mediteranian on the left, scattered farms and old adobe castle remains was the scene. We arrived at a beautiful beachfront hotel for the night.

Denise- My rental bike is orange.
