Malaga to Marbella

The tourist area of malaga was quite lively on a Friday night. Clowns making balloon animals, people playing instruments. The chatter of all the local teens also filled the streets. We picked quaint restaurant in a quiet alley to have a street side dinner.

There is a lot of meat in this town… Breakfast, lunch, dinner!
This picture is for kenny

Many things here is different. One major thing is in the states the green nozzle at the gas pump is diesel here it the one you use for regular gas.

We had a lot of tunnels again on this stretch of road. James tried to keep the camera out around his neck during the ride to capture some shots we’ve been missing.

It was a chilly grey ride. The hotel was a little difficult to find. Well off the beaten path but well worth the scout out. We wanted to just drop our bags off and head to Gibraltar but the weather just didn’t look promising. We couldn’t check into our room till 3 so we just hung around and had lunch beachside. The wind picked up quite a bit and it was chilly. Our room now being ready we decided to nap as we awaited the arrival of our friends Adam and Denise. They were taking a plane from their assignment in Moldova. We were expecting them around 5 but the hours just kept passing! We were starting to get nervous we didn’t know ANY info about their flights. No airline, countries they had to stop in, no itinerary at all. All we could do is wait. They ended up showing up after 9. Because they had booked each of their 3 legs of travel separately there was not enough time between flights and they missed it. They ended up on a train and a bus to get to us. We had dinner, laughed and reminisced until the early morning hours. It wasn’t so bad as tonight we turn the clock and gain an hour. Now there will only be a 5 hour difference from home.

Thanks for the update. Those pics of ride thru tunnel were pretty cool. James, your crazy! Glad to hear Adam & Denise arrived safely. Enjoy your time with them, say Hi. The hanging meat I didn’t need to see, but Kenny will love it. Maybe that will inspire him to go to Europe?! lol Seems like I really love the doors in Spain. The architecture is beautiful. Continue to have an amazing time. We love ya.

And the wheels keep rolling. In Europe they have no meat or vegs. Meat and more meat. Good to hear Adam and Denise are safe with you. I’m sure your going to have some funny laughs together. Have there been any bridges to go over, it seems like just tunnels. Third day of frost here. Stacey you will need your boots when you get back. Love you both. Safe riding.
